At some point during a busy day, everyone needs a secure, convenient way to check their bank account balance. Below are four easy methods that allow you to keep a close eye on your funds.
Keep in mind that the balance you see might not reflect pending transactions or deposits that haven’t yet cleared.
1. Text Services
Customers enrolled in text Services can send a short message to get their account balance sent right to their phone. Text the short code BAL to 69272, and you’ll receive a message back with your current bank balance.
You can turn on the text Services feature in your mobile app under “Alerts & Messaging” followed by “Text Services”. Then, enter your preferred phone number and accept the Terms and Conditions to allow messages for your account.
2. Balance Inquiry at Capital Financial Inc ATM
Capital Financial Inc ATMs also allow you to check your balance securely. This feature is available without having to withdraw cash. Simply look for the “Balance Inquiry” button on the screen.
You can choose to view the balance on the screen, print a balance inquiry ticket, or have your balance sent to you via text or email. Find an ATM near you by visiting our Locations page.
3. Telephone Services
For those who don’t have their online Services information readily available, telephone Services is a good alternative. You can reach the automated system by calling (888) 292-7005. You will need your Telebank ID and your PIN. If you do not know your Telebank ID, please call your local branch or Customer Care at (855) 863-2265.
4. Create your own alert
Another way to stay on top of your account balance is to set up regular alerts in your mobile app.
In addition to security alerts, you can set up a Current Balance account alert. This will send your balance daily in the method you choose, such as email or text message.
Set up your Current Balance alert under “Alerts & Messaging” followed by “Mange Alerts” in the mobile Services app.
